Battle-Ax is my go-to arrow shafts not only because of the price but also because they fly true, have a good GPI, and are especially tough to break, even when compared to name-brand arrows. I once sent an arrow through a deer’s upper shoulder blade and out the other side, hitting a tree, and after unscrewing the arrowhead lodged in the tree, I found the shaft was still in perfect shape! You could always spend over a hundred bucks on a Carbon Express or Gold Tip, but after using these, I’ve found there’s really no difference.

I used these arrows to replace some Carbon Express arrows I’ve been using for years. I don’t like spending so much on arrows so I thought I would give these a try. I am so glad I did! These seem to be comparable to Carbon Express, and with some quick fletch and a few mid-grade inserts and nocks, they fly very well. I haven’t been shooting them for long, but so far, I’m happy with my purchase.

I got these arrows hoping to find a good budget option without spending $300 on overpriced carbon arrows, and I’m glad I did. The arrows look great and are durable! The straightness consistency is perfect! I’ve been really happy with them so far. They group well at all ranges up to 60 yards, though I haven’t shot beyond that distance yet.
